I have to admit, I was very happily surprised with this jacket. The fit and finish were excellent but the fabric itself was beyond expectation. Velvet can be hit or miss. Sometimes a little too thick or stiff, but this is top notch. Supple and so soft to the touch. One could pay a lot more for a lot less. I am extremely happy with this purchase!
